西南航空包船运燃油应对高油价

据CNBC报道，西南航空（Southwest Airlines）今春包租一艘船，从得克萨斯州向加利福尼亚州运输喷气燃料，这是该达拉斯航司首次这样做。首席财务官汤姆·多克西（Tom Doxey）称，此举在供应最紧张、最易受冲击时，为西海岸送去了约一周用量的燃油；该船5月28日抵达洛杉矶，载有约1260万加仑燃料。西南航空表示，二季度燃油支出较上年同期增加近9亿美元。
