According to Axios, the House on Thursday passed a 214-208 resolution directing President Trump to end hostilities in Iran, in the second successful congressional rebuke of his military campaign there. Four Republicans — Reps. Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, Tom Barrett of Michigan, Warren Davidson of Ohio and Thomas Massie of Kentucky — joined every Democrat in support. The measure is largely symbolic and does not carry the force of law. Axios also reported that House Republicans are working to pass $73 billion in funding for the war effort in Iran, while a similar Senate measure is set for a vote Thursday and faces a difficult path.
