据韩联社报道，韩国和美国在华盛顿设立韩美造船合作中心（KUSPC），以推动双方“MASGA”倡议下1500亿美元投资，协助振兴美国造船业。韩国工业通商资源部长官金正官表示，该中心是全球造船合作的前所未有平台，体现韩国支持重建美国造船业的承诺。韩国国防采购厅称，将寻求海军造船领域合作机会，并帮助韩企进入美国造船和国防供应链。
