Foresight News reported that Ondo Finance's SEC-registered broker-dealer subsidiary, Oasis Pro Markets, has received FINRA authorization to offer compliant tokenized company stocks and funds to U.S. financial institutions and retail investors under SEC and FINRA oversight. According to Foresight News, the authorization covers OTC retail trading, underwritten primary offerings, and private placements, supporting primary issuance of tokenized securities by U.S. issuers and secondary trading by institutional and retail investors.
The tradable assets include NMS stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, index funds, and IPO securities. Settlement can be completed in fiat or supported stablecoins. The move builds on Ondo's acquisition of Oasis Pro, which holds SEC-registered broker-dealer, ATS, and transfer agent licenses, and supports a unified account structure that allows institutions, registered investment advisers, and retirement accounts to access the market through existing brokerage channels with lower onboarding friction.
