Sui said electric vehicle charging project Gorae will bring more than 50,000 charging stations on-chain in South Korea this year through cooperation with Sui and the decentralized storage network Walrus. According to Foresight News, Gorae is working with one of South Korea's largest charging station operators to use Sui for payment settlement and Walrus to record each charging session as verifiable data in the same transaction.
Gorae plans to begin a phased rollout of South Korea's network on-chain in the second half of 2026, then expand to Asia-Pacific, Europe and North America.
