Kazakhstan Oil Output Falls After Drone Attack Closes Export Terminal

Two industry sources said Kazakhstan's oil production has declined after the Black Sea terminal, the main gateway for the country's crude exports, was closed following a drone attack. According to Jin10, the drop was especially pronounced at Chevron-led Tengiz oilfield, the country's largest oilfield, with one source saying output there fell by more than half from 925,000 barrels per day in July to about 406,000 barrels per day on Wednesday. The same source said Kazakhstan's total oil and gas condensate output on Wednesday fell to 1.63 million barrels from a July daily average of 2.07 million barrels.
