Mainland A-share markets turned from gains to losses at midday, with the Shanghai Composite Index ending morning trade at 3,859, down 0.19%, according to Ming Pao.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed the session at 14,035, also down 0.19%, while the ChiNext Index fell 0.33% to 3,555. Combined turnover on the two markets reached RMB 1.47 trillion in the first half of the day.
