Musk Says Tesla Demand Remains Strong As FSD Drives Purchases

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said at an earnings call on Wednesday after U.S. market close that the companys underlying demand remains strong and that Full Self-Driving (FSD) is the main driver of demand, according to 36Kr. He said FSD take rates are very high in regions where the system has been approved and deployed, and added that many customers are effectively buying a car to get FSD. Musk said Tesla expects similar surge-like demand growth in markets as FSD is approved country by country.
