U.S. Sen. Cynthia Lummis said the CLARITY Act’s ethics provisions and anti-money laundering language could be revised after further discussions. According to NS3.AI, she said a proposal allowing state attorneys general to file criminal and civil suits over ethics violations was unacceptable to Republicans and the White House.

Lummis also said U.S. Republicans announced a revised CLARITY Act draft today. She added that the ethics and anti-money laundering language may change as negotiations continue.
