Iran warned that if it cannot sell oil, no one else in the region will either, lifting crude prices and pushing Bitcoin (BTC) back below $66,000. According to BeInCrypto, the comments from Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf revived fears over the Strait of Hormuz, through which about one in five barrels of global oil passes, according to the EIA. Brent traded near $96 and WTI rose about 2.25% to near $89, while Bitcoin was down about 0.4% on the day.
