Fairshake affiliate Protect Progress spent more than $986,000 on media in Michigan’s 13th congressional district, according to FEC filings as of Tuesday. According to NS3.AI, the spending backed Democratic incumbent Shri Thanedar and opposed challenger Donavan McKinney ahead of an Aug. 4 primary. Fairshake and its affiliates reported having $191 million available to influence key elections.
