A group of New York City landlords sued to void a rent freeze approved in June, arguing Mayor Zohran Mamdani improperly influenced the Rent Guidelines Board’s vote, according to Bloomberg.
The landlords also said the board ignored evidence that operating costs for building owners are rising.
