Arbitrum-based RWA trading platform Ostium said it will resume trading on July 23 at 10:00 PM, with access restored in phases. According to Foresight News, the platform will first allow position closing, margin top-ups, order updates or cancellations, take-profit and stop-loss orders, and forced liquidations, before opening new positions after pending orders are cleared.

Existing open contracts and pending orders will remain in place, and positions will be marked to market using the real-time price at the moment trading resumes. Only that price will be used to determine whether liquidation or take-profit and stop-loss conditions are triggered, while price movements during the suspension will not be counted. For liquidity providers, new deposits remain paused, and withdrawals will be processed in the next settlement cycle.

Ostium also warned users to watch out for impersonation accounts. The company said it has not issued any recovery registration forms and will never ask for private keys or funds.

The platform previously said the July 15 attack was caused by hackers breaching off-chain infrastructure related to the protocol's price system, with total losses exceeding $23.75 million. Ostium said it is working with Mandiant, zeroShadow, Collisionless, SEAL 911, law enforcement, exchanges, bridges, and stablecoin issuers, and will provide notice 24 hours before the restart.
