Nigeria’s gasoline imports more than tripled last month after the country’s main refinery cut domestic supply and shifted more output to export markets to earn foreign currency, according to Bloomberg.
The move boosted exports from the Dangote refinery and reduced fuel available at home as the company sought to maximize dollar earnings.
