Bitwise CEO: Bitcoin should shed the image of "digital gold" and achieve mainstream popularity

Hunter Horsley, chief executive of Bitwise, said the term "digital gold" limited Bitcoin's reach as an investment asset. Mr. Horsely said that while the image of "digital gold" was helpful to Bitcoin, it had many qualities that were superior to gold and it was time to "get rid" of that perception.
