Trump Administration Won't Block Tate Brothers' U.K. Extradition

According to Axios, President Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio are not planning to block the extradition of Andrew and Tristan Tate to the U.K., where British authorities have brought 38 new sex-crime charges against them. U.S. marshals arrested the brothers in Miami on Saturday, bringing their combined total charges to 59, and they also face separate sex-crime charges in Romania from 2023. A senior administration official said the U.S. intends to honor its extradition treaty with the U.K., while a State Department official said Rubio has not spoken with the brothers or their lawyers and that the department has no plans to act on the matter right now.
