Kalshi to launch Midterms Hub for U.S. election contract odds

According to CNBC, prediction market platform Kalshi will launch a new Midterms Hub that shows how traders in event contracts see the midterm elections unfolding. The hub will display odds for individual U.S. Senate and House races, a map of the country, polling averages, the latest Federal Election Commission fundraising reports for candidates, and curated news and analysis. Kalshi said about three quarters of visitors to its platform do not trade contracts and only check current odds. In a statement, Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour said prediction markets offer a view that is difficult to distort with political bias and provide clarity backed by real money. He said that is what users will get with the Midterms Hub. Kalshi added that the political hub is its latest move to expand its presence ahead of November's midterm elections, following the May launch of the American Power Index. More than $30 million has already been traded on contracts tied to which party will win the House and Senate in 2026.
