According to Jin10, QuestMobile data showed that by May 2026, the mobile game app industry had 672 million monthly active users, up 4.0% year on year. WeChat mini games had 654 million monthly active users, up 32.7% year on year, while Douyin mini games had 85 million monthly active users. In the first half of 2026, the total number of approved domestic game licenses reached 917, up 21.1% year on year.
