Chinese AI compute stocks rose strongly in morning trade, with Unisplendour Corporation opening higher and quickly hitting the daily limit-up before briefly reopening and then sealing a second straight limit-up, while Inspur Information and Dawning Information each gained more than 5%. According to Jiemian News, the move came after Nvidia formally launched its next-generation Spectrum-6 Ethernet switch chip, which is designed to support hyperscale AI infrastructure based on the Vera Rubin platform.
Nvidia said Spectrum-6 will be a core component of its next-generation Spectrum-X Ethernet switch platform, and that its higher bandwidth, intelligent traffic management and fault-recovery capabilities are intended to improve the computing efficiency of AI factories. Nvidia said early adopters of Spectrum-6 will include AI infrastructure builders such as CoreWeave, Microsoft, Nebius, SpaceX AI and Tesla. China Universal Cloud Computing ETF (516630) rose more than 1% in morning trade and holds heavy positions in AI computing, cloud services, optical modules and data center leaders, with an on-exchange comprehensive fee of 0.20%, the lowest among peers.
