Samsung Electronics plans to build a new HVAC manufacturing plant at its Gwangju campus in South Korea to expand its business-to-business central air conditioning operations. According to Odaily, the company recently submitted an application to local authorities for construction approval for the new facility. The project is expected to cost about 200 billion won and is intended to expand HVAC system capacity, including cooling equipment for AI data centers.
