OpenAI’s coding agent Codex and workplace agent ChatGPT Work have reached a combined 10 million weekly active users, up from 6 million nine days earlier. According to ChainCatcher, OpenAI then reset usage limits again for paying users of both products.
In March, Codex had 2 million weekly active users, meaning the two products have expanded fivefold since then. OpenAI had previously promised to reset usage quotas each time user numbers rose by another 1 million, from 3 million to 10 million, and this reset marks the final step in that commitment.
