Ramp announced stablecoin accounts and payment services, with settlement conducted on the Solana network. According to Foresight News, the new feature allows customers to use USDC or USDT for faster cross-border supplier payments and fund transfers.
Ramp's stablecoin accounts can send USDC or USDT directly to wallets in more than 140 countries and regions, or convert them into fiat for local payments in more than 40 currencies. Users holding stablecoin balances can earn rewards of up to 3.25%. Ramp Bill Pay has also added stablecoins as a payment method, allowing companies to pay suppliers without holding stablecoin balances themselves.
