Lightning Labs said on X that it has launched Wavelength, a self-custody Bitcoin payment toolkit built on an Ark-like settlement layer. According to Odaily, the tool is designed to let developers, AI agents, and vibe coders integrate Bitcoin payments into applications without running nodes, managing channels, or obtaining liquidity.
The company said Wavelength supports Lightning payments for any application and uses MCP tool calls to let AI agents access Bitcoin payment APIs, data sources, and other services. Wavelength is currently available in alpha on signet and testnet, while mainnet access requires an invitation.
