据CoinDesk报道，MoneyGram首席执行官Anthony Soohoo表示，公司区块链战略已从早期试验转向现代化全球支付基础设施，更看重其提升跨境汇款速度、降低成本和提高透明度的作用，而非面向消费者展示技术本身。MoneyGram目前与Stellar网络保持合作，并已成为Solana和Tempo的验证者；其新推出的稳定币MGUSD则主要用于公司自有支付生态。
