Bitmine Chairman and Fundstrat co-founder Tom Lee said assets tied to AI downstream are showing stronger relative performance, with Ethereum (ETH) recently outperforming the DRAM sector. According to Odaily, Lee said ETH's outperformance over DRAM widened to 7,200 basis points, or 72 percentage points, over the past month.

Lee said ETH rose about 24% during the period, while DRAM-related exchange-traded funds fell about 38%. He said AI infrastructure investment is expanding from chips and computing supply chains toward applications and digital infrastructure, and that some AI downstream assets are being repriced by the market.

Lee has previously said that with the development of stablecoins, tokenized assets and on-chain financial applications, Ethereum could become an important part of digital economic infrastructure in the AI era. He also said the performance gap between crypto assets and the traditional AI hardware supply chain is widening.
