SCRYPT Founder and CEO Norman Wooding said stablecoins are becoming the rails for real-world payments, with about 80% of the Swiss-licensed platform’s processed volume now in stablecoins, according to BeInCrypto, as TON and Telegram push institutional settlement use cases. He said the network can move $100 million in five seconds and argued legacy cross-border banking remains slow and expensive.
Wooding also said he expects more activity on-chain in three years and sees AI driving a more deflationary economic environment.
