According to CNBC, Jefferies said Meta Platforms is likely to rebound by tapping a multibillion-dollar revenue opportunity tied to its artificial intelligence-powered smart glasses. The firm kept a buy rating on the stock and set an $825 price target, implying nearly 28% upside from Monday's close. Analyst Brent Thill said Meta has a first-mover advantage because it is the only company shipping at scale and estimated a $14 billion to $18 billion hardware revenue opportunity within the next few years at an average selling price of $400. Meta launched its latest smart glasses in late June, including the Meta Adventurer, Fury, and Glasses by Kylie. Jefferies said daily users of Meta glasses have tripled year over year and that production capacity for the newest wearable product has risen to 20 million in 2026. Thill also said higher-value AI-linked subscriptions and advertising could add upside, while commerce monetization through smart glasses could become one of Meta's largest long-term growth drivers.
