The three major US stock indexes closed up and down differently. The Dow fell 0.15%, fell 0.54% this week, and fell four times in a row; the S & P 500 fell 0.04%, rose 1.58% this week, ending the four-day rally; the Nasdaq rose 0.12%, rose 3.24% this week, and continued to hit a record high for five consecutive trading days. Large technology stocks rose and fell, Netflix rose more than 2%, NVIDIA rose more than 1%, Google, Microsoft, and Meta rose slightly; Tesla fell more than 2%, and Apple and Amazon fell slightly.
