Cloud computing startup Fluidstack said it completed an $830 million Series A round in January at a $7.5 billion valuation. According to ChainCatcher, the round was led by Situational Awareness, the fund run by former OpenAI researcher Leopold Aschenbrenner, with participation from multiple investors.
The company said it builds infrastructure for AI labs and aims to become the fastest company in the world to deploy hundreds of gigawatts of computing capacity.
