China’s Ministry of Transport said logistics costs will continue to fall during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, and the ratio of total social logistics costs to GDP has declined to 13.9%. According to Jin10, Cai Tuanjie, head of the ministry’s safety supervision office and director-general of the transport services department, said at a State Council Information Office briefing that transportation in 2025 helped reduce logistics costs and pushed the ratio down to 13.9%. He also said the ministry will speed up logistics network construction, improve key logistics corridors, deepen connectivity among major hub nodes,补充城乡物流设施短板, and strengthen the construction of international logistics facilities.
