According to Jin10, a Nikkei News study found that hidden debt at major U.S. tech giants has increased eightfold in four years, reaching an estimated $1.65 trillion. The study analyzed recent financial reports and other materials from Alphabet, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, and Oracle. Meta's off-balance-sheet debt was about $420 billion, nearly three times its recorded debt.
