According to CNBC, the United States is imposing additional 50% tariffs on a range of Canadian goods after senior Trump administration officials said Canada had discriminated against several U.S. products and industries. President Donald Trump signed three proclamations Monday targeting different sets of Canadian imports, and the officials said the tariffs under Section 338 of the Tariff Act of 1930 are set to take effect 30 days after the signings.
