SEC 表示，2023 年 6 月至 2025 年 5 月期间，Shaikh 和 Mining Automatic 向投资者承诺，通过参与加密资产挖矿业务可获得固定月度收益，但相关业务无法产生承诺回报。SEC 起诉文件称，Shaikh 及 Mining Automatic 还涉嫌就其加密挖矿经验、运营能力、投资资金用途和业务状态作出虚假陈述，并以无法支付投资者收益为由解释延迟付款。
