Solana’s on-chain tokenized asset trading volume hit a record $5.8 billion in the second quarter of 2026, up 114% from the first quarter. According to ChainCatcher, tokenized stock trading reached $4.8 billion and accounted for 97% of the network’s total tokenized equity volume, with institutional RWA demand cited as the main growth driver.
Solana’s real economic value fell 43% quarter over quarter to $51 million as meme coin activity cooled, while DEX spot trading volume declined to $160.8 billion. SOL spot ETPs recorded $120 million in net inflows, and total staked SOL rose to 427 million, or about two-thirds of the total supply.
The network is expected to implement the Alpenglow upgrade and related SIMD proposals, which aim to adjust inflation and token burn rules and improve SOL’s value capture.
