UAE Non-Oil Trade Hits Record in First Half of 2026

The United Arab Emirates said its non-oil foreign trade reached 1.937 trillion dirhams in the first half of 2026, up 13.1% from a year earlier and a record high. According to Jin10, non-oil exports were the main driver of trade growth during the period. Non-oil goods exports also hit a record 452.8 billion dirhams, lifting their share of total non-oil foreign trade to 23.4% from 21.3% a year earlier. Gold was the UAE's largest non-oil trade commodity, with trade value rising 48.8% year on year, followed by communications equipment, jewelry, and automobiles.
