Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin built a small anonymous billboard demo using zero-knowledge proofs and joked that he keeps choosing side projects over promoting ETH. According to BeInCrypto, he called the project vibe coded and said he let AI tools write much of the code, with the demo built on Aztec, a privacy-focused network on Ethereum cryptography.
The GitHub repo, aztec_experiments, includes three prototypes, including the billboard, which uses poseidon2-based nullifiers to verify posting rights and prevent double-posting without revealing identity.
