South Korea Probes 40 Crypto Manipulation Cases Under 2024 Law

South Korea’s Financial Services Commission said it has investigated 40 crypto market manipulation cases since the Virtual Asset User Protection Act took effect in 2024, referring more than 30 to investigative agencies. According to BeInCrypto, the cases involved 25 suspects, with average illicit gains of about 1.4 billion won per case.
