China State Construction Group Plans Up to 1 Billion Yuan Share Purchase in China State Construction

China State Construction Engineering said on July 20 that its controlling shareholder, China State Construction Group, plans to increase its A-share holdings by no less than 500 million yuan and no more than 1 billion yuan over the 12 months starting July 21, 2026. The purchases will be made through centralized bidding via the Shanghai Stock Exchange, with no preset price range, and funded by the group’s own cash and self-raised funds, according to Jiemian News. China State Construction Group also said it will not reduce its holdings during the implementation period or within the statutory lockup period. Based on the July 17 closing price of 4.53 yuan per share, the planned buyup is estimated at about 110 million to 220 million shares, or 0.27% to 0.53% of total share capital.
