据韩联社报道，尽管美国与伊朗在中东的冲突加剧，韩国韩元周一对美元汇率仍小幅走高，3时30分报1,478.4韩元，较前一交易日上涨0.1韩元。韩元盘初报1,490韩元，随后收窄跌幅。市场人士称，出口商和投资者卖出美元，SK海力士（SK hynix）将其通过纳斯达克市场美国存托凭证募集资金的一部分兑换为韩元，亦对汇率形成支撑。外资当天净买入本地股票5161亿韩元，基准韩国综合股价指数下跌4.46%，收于6516.27点。
