Boeing Forecasts $4.9 Trillion Global Civil Aviation Services Market Over 20 Years

Boeing said on July 18 that the global civil aviation services market will reach $4.9 trillion over the next 20 years, and the industry will need more than 2.4 million additional aviation professionals to support fleet expansion and aviation growth. According to 36Kr, Boeing projected that by 2045 the sector will need about 674,000 more pilots, 728,000 maintenance technicians and 1.023 million cabin crew members. It said roughly two-thirds of the talent demand will replace retirees, while the remaining one-third will support global fleet growth.
