Loopring said its L2 NFT return work has been completed. According to Foresight News, the team executed nine batches of sendNfts() transactions on the Ethereum mainnet from block 25571319 to block 25571397, successfully delivering 2,046 NFTs, including 544 ERC-721 tokens and 1,502 ERC-1155 tokens, across 1,241 L1 addresses and 283 collections.
Some NFTs could not be sent on-chain. According to Foresight News, 14 transfers reverted because the collection was locked or the recipient contract did not support ERC-1155, 21 expired .eth ENS domains could not be returned, and NFTs originally minted on Loopring L2 without a mainnet counterpart collection were excluded from the return process. NFTs held by Loopring Smart Wallet addresses will still be returned manually for security reasons, with a deadline of August 15, 2026. Users can email the official address to complete identity verification and claim them.
