Putin Meets North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui in Moscow

According to Lianhe Zaobao citing Xinhua, Russian President Vladimir Putin met North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui at the Kremlin in Moscow on Sunday, July 19. The Russian presidential website said Putin thanked North Korea for helping Russia carry out its special military operation, while Choe conveyed North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's remarks on North Korea-Russia ties. Putin said he highly valued bilateral relations between Russia and North Korea and again thanked North Korea's leadership and people for their support. He also sent his warmest regards to Kim, and Choe said Kim had recently reaffirmed a strategic direction of fully developing North Korea-Russia relations. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov also attended the meeting.
