According to Jin10, Moody's Analytics said South Korea's economic growth in the second quarter could slow from 1.8% in the first quarter to 0.9%. It said exports, especially semiconductor exports, will again play the main role, while domestic demand is expected to remain weak, consumption may improve only slightly, high energy costs are adding to inflation pressure, and government measures can only ease it partially. South Korea's preliminary second-quarter GDP will be released on Thursday.
