据韩联社报道，韩国与阿尔及利亚同意建立两国直飞航线，并划定航权。韩国国土交通部称，双方已同意为每周最多4班客货运航班划定航权。
两国于2005年1月签署航空服务协定，并于2009年7月生效，但因未就航权展开谈判，直飞航班一直未能开通。韩国目前在非洲仅运营仁川—亚的斯亚贝巴一条直飞航线。
