According to CNBC, Jim Cramer said Wells Fargo has been building out its mergers-and-acquisitions and underwriting business under CEO Charlie Scharf, while J.B. Hunt reported a strong upside surprise this week and the SPDR S&P Biotech ETF is up more than 27% this year. He also said Stripe's offer to acquire PayPal shows consolidation could continue in fintech, while tech names including Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Intel, AMD and other data-center-related stocks have come under pressure.
