Cardano Activates Van Rossem Hard Fork On Mainnet

Cardano activated its Van Rossem hard fork on July 18, upgrading the network to Protocol Version 11 with faster, cheaper smart contracts and stronger node security. according to BeInCrypto, the update went live on mainnet around 21:45 UTC with only a brief ten-minute block gap and no disruption to users or holdings. More than 77% of DReps and 52% of stake pool operators backed the upgrade.
