Jordan Summons Iranian Chargé d’Affaires Over Ongoing Attacks

Jordan’s Foreign Ministry said it summoned the acting head of the Iranian embassy in Amman and handed him a protest note over Iran’s continued attacks on Jordanian territory and what it called inflammatory and provocative statements by Iranian official bodies about Jordan. According to Jin10, a Jordanian Foreign Ministry spokesperson said the ministry asked the Iranian chargé d’affaires to convey a clear message to the Iranian government to immediately stop the attacks on Jordan and to end the unacceptable inflammatory statements.
