SOUTH KOREA | South Korea Adds Won-Pegged Stablecoins, Bond Tokenization Pilot to Roadmap

South Korea has released a roadmap that includes won-pegged stablecoins, a government bond tokenization pilot, and Project Agora with central banks from eight countries. According to NS3.AI, the Bank of Korea expects the Offshore Won Settlement Network to begin trial operations in September this year. The network is expected to officially launch in January next year.
