China Shenhua (1088) said its June commodity coal output was 42.7 million tonnes, down 1.4% year on year, while coal sales in May fell 4.9% to 50.5 million tonnes, according to Ming Pao.
The company also said total power generation was 22.56 billion kWh, down 6.6%, and total electricity sales were 21.04 billion kWh, down 6.8%.
