Foundry Digital, AntPool, ViaBTC and F2Pool controlled more than 70% of Bitcoin network hashrate as of June 23, 2026, with shares of about 31%, 18%, 13% and 10%, respectively. According to Odaily, Foundry Digital is a U.S.-based mining pool backed by Digital Currency Group and mainly serves large institutions and publicly listed miners.

D-Central gave the network a Nakamoto coefficient of 3 for the first half of 2026, meaning three mining pools were enough to produce more than half of blocks. According to Odaily, ViaBTC faced closer regulatory scrutiny in 2026, and some miners switched to alternative pools such as EMCD.
